Standard cellular connectivity for Haltian Gateway XS

Overview

The Gateway XS is designed for minimal customer configuration. Cellular connectivity is pre-configured by Haltian before delivery, and no customer network configuration is required for the standard deployment.

Cellular Connectivity

The LTE cellular connection is fully managed by Haltian:

SIM card: Pre-installed and configured — no customer action required
Network registration: Automatic on power-on
APN settings: Pre-configured
Connection management: Handled by gateway firmware

Note

If you need to deploy the gateway in a location with specific network restrictions or requirements, contact Haltian support before installation.

Device Naming

After the gateway appears online in Haltian Studio, assign a descriptive name:

Log in to Haltian Studio
Navigate to Devices → Gateways
Locate the gateway by UUID
Assign a name that reflects the installation location (e.g., “3rd Floor East Wing”)
