Inventory by Keywords
Browse and filter your device fleet by keyword tags
Overview
The Inventory by Keywords view lets you browse your entire device fleet organized by keyword tags. Instead of searching for individual devices, you select a keyword and see all devices with that tag — useful for checking groups of devices during field visits or audits.
Requirements
Roles: Viewer, Installer, Designer, Manager
All roles can browse devices by keyword.
Accessing the Keywords Inventory
From the main navigation, open the By keywords view under the Devices section. You see an alphabetical list of all keywords defined in your organization.
Browsing Keywords
- Scroll the list or use the filter field at the top to find a keyword
- Tap a keyword to see all devices assigned to it
- Tap any device in the results to open its Device Details
Each keyword entry shows the number of devices associated with it, giving you a quick overview of your fleet distribution.
Filtering and Searching
The filter field searches keyword names as you type. This is helpful when your organization has many keywords:
- Type part of a keyword name to narrow the list
- Matching is case-insensitive
- Clear the filter to return to the full list
Use Cases
| Scenario | How to Use |
|---|---|
| Field maintenance round | Filter by Maintenance keyword to see all devices needing attention |
| Building audit | Select a location keyword like Building A to review all devices there |
| Deployment check | Filter by Phase 1 to verify all devices in a rollout are online |
| Sensor type review | Select Temperature Sensor to check all temperature devices at once |
| Status monitoring | Filter by Testing to see devices still under evaluation |
Tips
- Keywords only appear in the list if at least one device has them assigned
- If you don’t see a keyword you expect, check the Keywords screen to verify it exists
- Combine this view with Favorites — find devices via keywords, then pin important measurements to your favorites
