Overview

Haltian Field is the mobile companion app for the Haltian IoT platform. It gives field engineers, installers, and facility managers everything they need to find, monitor, and manage IoT devices on the go.

With Field you can quickly look up any device, check its latest sensor readings, update settings, take photos, and leave notes — all from your phone.

Find devices fast — search by name, ID, or scan a QR code on the device
See what’s happening — view live sensor readings like temperature, occupancy, humidity, and more
Track your favorites — pin the measurements you care about most to a personal dashboard
Configure devices — view and update device settings in the field
Document your work — attach photos, write notes, and tag devices with keywords
Know where things are — see device locations on a map and browse the space hierarchy

User Roles

What you can do in the app depends on your role in the organization:

Role	What you can do
Viewer	Browse devices, view measurements and locations
Installer	Everything above, plus edit device info, add notes, keywords, and photos
Designer	Everything above, plus configure device settings
Manager	Full access including user and organization management

Tip

If you see an access denied screen after login, your account doesn't have a role yet. Contact your organization's administrator.
